Sota7 Flora and Crossbreeding Hub
Flora hub for Honeycomb: The World Beyond — the plant species confirmed on Sota7 and how allogamy and grafting create new hybrids in the crossbreeding system.
What plants grow on Sota7?
From calm forests to glowing grass plains, Sota7’s flora is the core of the game’s science loop. Confirmed species so far include spiral trees, towering purple trees, giant sprout-like growths, amantus flowers with dangling red petals, berry trees, and fungi. Plants are both scenery and resource: some are nurturing, some lethal, and each holds properties you can study, replicate, and recombine.
How crossbreeding works
Crossbreeding is Honeycomb’s signature mechanic, and it uses real agricultural biology. Allogamy — cross-pollinating two species — and grafting — joining plant tissues — let you synthesize properties from one species onto another. Developer devlogs demonstrate a full recipe flow: gather samples, analyse them in the lab, perform the cross, then observe the resulting hybrid. Outcomes are meant to be experimented with rather than memorized, so expect our recipe database to grow with community testing.
Species and recipe pages we are building
This hub will host a searchable Sota7 plant database and crossbreeding recipe list, verified against the release build from September 8, 2026 onward. Until then, treat pre-release footage as a preview of the roster, not a final list.
