The planet and its mission

Sota7 is an uninhabited, mysterious alien world — beautiful but not harmless. Earth is nearly barren, so EON Corp sends bioengineer Hennessy to study Sota7’s ecosystems and produce species and medicines that can restart nature at home. The deeper you explore, the more the planet reveals: developer trailers promise that Sota7 keeps secrets beneath its surface.

Confirmed biomes and landmarks

Sota7’s terrain spans calm forests, vibrant jungles, and vast fields at the foot of a mysterious volcano, with glowing grass plains and crystal caves teased by the developers, plus underground caverns and water ecosystems. Landmarks to watch for include towering purple trees and other oversized alien flora that mark regions worth studying.

We are mapping Sota7 biome by biome: what lives there, what grows there, what threatens you, and what rewards deeper expeditions. Location guides will be verified against the release build starting September 8, 2026, and each will carry its last-checked date.
